UES Raises Over $25,000 for Team Members Impacted by Hurricane Ian

In the wake of tragedy, UES employees came together to provide hope and assistance for fellow team members and their families who were severely impacted by Hurricane Ian, which caused unprecedented damage to areas of Southwest Florida.

With the generosity and quick action of caring team members, a successful donation drive amongst six offices across Florida allowed UES to send trucks filled to the brim with water, fuel, batteries, tarps, and other essentials to Southwest Florida within days after the storm struck. The thought of the devastation experienced by fellow UES team members continued to be top of mind for both employees in and outside of the state of Florida, looking for a way to provide support to those impacted.

Through setting up a GoFundMe account, UES team members across the country were able to show their support by contributing monetary donations and are proud to have raised over $25,000 between employee contributions and the company match to help 25 team members and their families who were severely impacted by the storm. Funds ranging from $300 to $1,400 were wired directly to recipients in late November, with amounts based on the level of impact of each individual/family.

During a catastrophic time for many, UES is humbled to have been able to bring even the smallest sense of relief to team members and their families. Below are several heartwarming thank you messages shared with us from those who received support.
