Pinnacle Pointe Housing Developments
UES utilized visual, non-intrusive inspection techniques for this project, which provided assurance that the structures were virtually free of any defects related to codes or structural deficiencies.
We began this project by speaking with site management to understand where any leak issues had occurred in the past. After our discussion, we performed the following tasks at each building exterior to discern whether there was a high probability of water entering the building envelope:
- An infrared camera inspection of each building to discern whether there are any indications of water intrusion into the walls at the time of our inspection
- Physical inspection of the exterior of each structure looking for water entry points (cracks, flashings, windows, doors, etc.)
- Roof shingle inspection using binoculars or aerial inspection
