We are proud to announce that the UES Fort Myers, FL Laboratory has successfully completed its bi-annual re-validation inspection by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Materials Testing Center. This rigorous evaluation, conducted by a team of three inspectors over the course of a day and a half, encompassed a comprehensive review of more than 100 test methods and standards.
The outcome of this inspection was exceptional, with the laboratory receiving a “No Action Required” (NAR) designation—an achievement that underscores the team’s commitment to excellence. This means that no follow-up efforts or responses were necessary, a rare distinction for a facility managing such a vast number of tests and standards. The lead inspector even noted that they had to “really dig to find anything,” further highlighting the meticulous standards maintained by the Fort Myers team.
During the inspection, the few minor deficiencies identified were immediately corrected on-site, reinforcing our dedication to continuous improvement and strict adherence to industry best practices. Achieving such an outstanding result is a testament to the teamwork, diligence, and technical expertise of our laboratory professionals.
This success exemplifies UES’s unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards in materials testing, quality control, and assurance. It sets a benchmark for all UES laboratories while also demonstrating to our USACE and government agency clients that we not only meet but exceed expectations. Our commitment to quality is not just a statement—we back it up with results.
Congratulations to the UES Fort Myers team for this well-earned recognition. Your dedication and expertise continue to set the standard for excellence in our industry.
